EDUCATION

We plan to educate members through professional development, a speaker series, and hands-on learning in key areas such as consumer research, investment, and product development.

SPORT MANAGEMENT

The University of Michigan holds the Niche #2 Best Sport Management program in America. We plan to leverage our network to provide value within the School of Kinesiology, allowing the school to grow from a financial perspective.

We are dedicated to building a network of students, alumni, and other industry professional across the sports, media, & entertainment business industry.

Our Vision

The Michigan Sport Venture Group (MSVG) is an undergraduate student organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship within the sports industry. MSVG is committed to cultivating a thriving community where start-ups, venture creation, and investment converge within the sports industry. Guided by faculty support and insights from the Sport Management program, MSVG offers a unique platform for students to delve into the realm of sports entrepreneurship. MSVG emphasizes hands-on learning in key areas such as consumer research, investment, and product development. This approach empowers members to translate ideas into actionable plans, fostering the skills needed for successful entrepreneurial ventures and investment practices in the sports sector.
